Running iPhone web applications in the browser sidebar becomes more and more popular. And it makes sense because the iPhone and the browser sidebar share the same small width restriction.
Therefore we made the little tweaks to optimize our mobile desktop for the sidebar of Firefox and the Opera panels.
How to run in Firefox sidebar:
- Open http://m.widgetop.com?ForceOnDevice and bookmark the page
- Open the properties for the just created bookmark and check Load this bookmark in the sidebar
- You might want to move the bookmark to the bookmark toolbar for quick access
How to add to Opera Panels:
Just click this link.

You can link to the desktop and open our Universal YourMinis Widget with any widget from the YourMinis directory.
How To
(from our syndication page)
Link to the Widgetop desktop http://www.widgetop.com
and add the URL parameter ?addYourMini=[WidgetURL]
where the [WidgetURL]
parameter denotes the URL to the Widget you want to add. Just go to the YourMinis directory, select the widget you want, press the Copy Me button, copy the code and replace [WidgetURL]
in the URL.
Hint: make sure you escape your URL parameter properly.
Example
This link will open your desktop with the Yourminis YouTube widget.
Of course you can use one of our buttons instead of a plain link.

Today we released our new Widgetop Mobile Desktop at:
http://m.widgetop.com.
It makes the Apple Dashboard widgets which currently run on the standard Widget desktop accessible from your mobile phone.
At the moment we support the browser on the Symbian S60 3rd platform. This includes most of Nokias Smartphones from the E- and N-Series (complete list). In the future we hope bring it to the Opera mobile browser as well and we are pretty confident that it will run on the new Apple iPhone.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a compatible phone. You can test it from your desktop browser, just browse to:
http://www.widgetop.com/mobile.html.

Widgetop web desktop works great on Firefox 2.0. This new browser version supports faster browsing and has many new useful features. With over 2 million downloads in 24 hours this is a major browser update. We recommend all users to upgrade their browser to Firefox 2.0.
